La Vieja Habano Corojo Chateau Corona cigars are 5 1/2 inches by 46 ring. A recreation of the first cigar ever produced by Drew Estate, before they were THE Drew Estate we know and love, the La Vieja Habana Cuban Corojo is a traditional cigar built for everyday enjoyment. The La Gran Fabrica factory goes through a lot of tobacco, and through the course of cutting and trimming a lot of short pieces are left over. What better to do with this well-aged and expertly fermented tobacco but roll it into cigars so it can be enjoyed on the cheap? To this wonderful mix, a premium leaf of Corojo has been recruited to serve as the wrapper, which makes this cigar something special.

Amazingly firm for a ‘sandwich style’ smoke, even after clipping the head and testing the draw it will be difficult to discern the stogie as anything other than a normal long-filler stick. This impression will be further bolstered once the cigar is lit and the sweet and robust flavors come pouring through. The tan and toothy outer leaf adds to the profile a buttery cedar and mild spice flavor while the interior tobaccos are crisp and loaded with nutmeg and a hint of pepper. Even the ash, which will sit solidly on the end of the lit cigar an inch at a time will trick your senses into thinking you must have read the above short filler description wrong.

There's no excuse to not having some La Vieja Habana Cuban Corojo in your humidor at all times. They are tasty, inexpensive, and you won't feel as though you are settling for something second rate in your daily smoking.
